What is DECA?
DECA is a non-profit civic
association created to preserve and enhance our neighborhoods. We are guided in
our work by overall community interests dedicated to maintaining and
improving the quality of life for residents in the DECA neighborhoods and surrounding
areas. Underlying our association's existence is the
importance of influencing various issues that may impact our neighborhoods, both short and
long term. We are very active in DeKalb county affairs through
membership on civic-minded boards, commissions, and other groups. We hope there's
a little something on our site for everyone, whether you live in a DECA
neighborhood...or plan to in the near future.

In
the future, we hope to have online maps of our each of our
neighborhoods, so you can see exactly where to find us. In the mean
time, you can use www.mapquest.com
and type our address as "Dresden Drive and Shallowford"
Atlanta, GA.
DECA would like to express THANKS
to the Shallowford Publix for its continued support and for the
refreshments they provided for our enjoyment at each quarterly meeting.
Please remember to support our local businesses, especially the new ones
located in the Shallowford Road Shopping
Center.
